By Robert Louis Stevenson. Adapted and directed by Andrew Robinson
Why does the upright and respectable Dr Jekyll associate with the vile and thuggish Mr Hyde? None of Jekyll's friends nor his fiancée can understand it. Why is Hyde the centre of an atmosphere of violence and death? Why doesn't Jekyll seem to care? Stevenson's classic novella is brought to the stage in a play that focuses on the psychological mystery within the famous work and brings to life the satirical aspect of Stevenson's dissection of the hypocrisy of Victorian society.
