Terra Nova

13th May - 19th May 2012

Written by Ted Tally and directed by Robin Dunn.

Terra Nova Flyer

Marking the 100th anniversary year of Robert Falcon Scott’s fateful Terra Nova expedition to the South Pole, this play tells the story of his journey, and his relationships with his team Wilson, Bowers, Oates and Evans, his wife Kathleen, and his rival Amundsen.  Relating with chilling intensity the awesome bravery of men who must accept that suffering and death will be the only reward for their heroism, the play vividly illustrates the best and worst in our natures.  Ted Tally’s theatrical tour de force captures the epic sweep of times and personalities when the last places on earth had yet to be conquered by man.

Terra Nova is Incognito’s entry for this year’s Barnet and District Drama Festival.

Cast: David Parsons, Huw Morgan, Catherine Little, Geoff Prutton, Doug Hopping, Matthew Phelan and Peter Kenyon.
