22nd January - 28th January 2012

Written by Terrence Rattigan and directed by  Mike and Jennie Mendé.

To celebrate Terrence Rattigan's Centenary and the revival of interest in his work, we present two one act plays which were written in 1948 to be performed as a double bill.

The more familiar drama The Browning Version is set in a minor Public School, where an apparently failed school master receives an unexpected gift.

The contrasting comedy, Harlequinade revolves around the dress rehearsal of a touring production of “Romeo and Juliet” where the somewhat overage “Romeo” receives an unpleasant surprise!

Cast : Tony Bilbow, Moira Wallace, Jean Francois Andre, Julia Curtis, David Parsons, Graham Boon, Andrew Robinson, Catherine Little, Linda Shannon, Brian Moran, Margaret Johnson, Clair Chaventre, Mike Clarke, Joe Bilbow, Amanda-Jayne Forward, Edward Harris and Douglas Hopping.
