A Christmas Carol

The play centres around the character Ebenezer Scrooge and his transformation from being a bitter, miserly and cynical man to a generous, jovial and hopeful man. The other main themes refer to the relationships of various characters to highlight not only their significance for happiness but also the result of self-imposed isolation. Through these relationships and various Christmas celebrations, Scrooge comes to realise true Christmas spirit. He is also helped by the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future.

The Weir

As the drink flows and the stories become increasingly frightening, it's clear that Valerie has something on her mind. She has a tale to tell that'll stop them all dead in their tracks.
